The Range Rover sport SVR, launched in 2015, was the flagship Range Rover. Taking the already potent Sport model, the SVR was worked over by Jaguar's Special Vehicle Operations department turning it into a genuine supercar-baiting family transporter.
SVO dropped in the ferocious 5.0 litre supercharged V8 from the F-Type R, producing a heady 543bhp and 502 lb ft of torque. This monster of a powerplant rockets this 2.2 ton SUV from 0-62mph in only 4.7 seconds and the top speed forcibly limited to 162mph.
To compliment this power increase SVO ensured the rest of the SVR was up to spec; both hardware and software was upgraded, and all of this together ensured a Nurburgring lap time quicker than a Porsche Cayman.
